LG Poll: Sanwo-Olu, deputy cast votes at polling unit

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, arrived at their polling units—06 and 07—located at St. Stephen’s Nursery and Primary School on Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island, at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The governor cast his vote at 11:28 a.m.

Earlier, Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat cast his vote at his polling unit in Oke-Balogun, Epe, at 11:05 a.m.

The ongoing local government elections are being conducted to fill chairmanship, vice-chairmanship, and councillorship positions across Lagos State’s 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
