The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, conducted extensive monitoring operations across key locations during the 2025 Lagos State local government elections to curb vote buying and financial inducement.
Zonal Director and Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Michael Nzekwe, oversaw the strategic deployment of EFCC operatives and personally led monitoring efforts at polling units in Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki, and Epe Local Government Area.
