The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will announce the 2025 admission cut-off marks for universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and monotechnics on Tuesday, July 8.

The decision will be made at the annual policy meeting, scheduled to hold at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja. JAMB disclosed this via its official X handle on Wednesday.

“The 2025 Policy Meeting holds on July 8, 2025, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja,” the statement read. “The meeting brings together stakeholders to discuss and ratify policy guidelines and admission regulations for the coming academic session.”

Attendance is strictly by invitation, but JAMB noted the proceedings would be covered live on its social media platforms.

The meeting will also determine the minimum Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scores—commonly referred to as cut-off marks—for admission into tertiary institutions.

In addition to setting cut-off marks, JAMB will collaborate with vice-chancellors, rectors, and provosts on admission timelines, registration deadlines, and other procedural matters.

Top scorers in the 2025 UTME will also be formally announced at the event.
