President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday visited victims of the brutal attack in Yelewata community, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, where over 59 people were killed and several others injured last Friday.

The President landed at the Tactical Air Command of the Nigerian Air Force Base in Makurdi at approximately 12:58 p.m., and proceeded directly to the hospital treating survivors of the attack.

Following the hospital visit, Tinubu headed to the New Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House, where he is scheduled to meet with key stakeholders as part of efforts to address the recurring violence in the state’s rural communities.
