On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at making in vitro fertilization (IVF) more affordable and accessible, an issue he had previously highlighted during his campaign.
The executive order directs the Domestic Policy Council to explore ways to reduce the costs of IVF and other fertility treatments for Americans. White House staff secretary Will Scharf announced the directive alongside Trump, who made the remarks at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
