Emirates Airline has signed an interline agreement with Air Peace to enhance connectivity for passengers traveling to and from Nigeria, expanding access to 13 new Nigerian cities.
The partnership allows for seamless, single-ticket travel and simplified baggage handling, strengthening Emirates’ presence in the country. Passengers flying from Dubai to Lagos can now connect to various cities in Nigeria, including Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri.
The airlines also anticipate that the agreement will benefit corporate travelers, offering additional connections to key Nigerian cities like Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Abuja.
This collaboration is expected to bolster the strong trade relationship between Nigeria and the UAE. In a statement, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, said, “Emirates is a committed partner to Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation sectors. This partnership with Air Peace marks an exciting next step, enhancing our connectivity and providing more options for leisure, corporate, and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travelers between Dubai and Nigeria.”
Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide, Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace, also expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that it represents a major milestone in improving global connectivity for Nigerian travelers. She said, “This interline partnership with Emirates aligns with our goal of offering seamless, world-class travel experiences while expanding our international network. We are excited to connect Nigerian travelers to more domestic destinations, enhancing business, tourism, and trade opportunities between Nigeria and the UAE.”
She added that the partnership would further bolster Nigeria’s aviation sector by improving connectivity and reinforcing its position as a key hub for regional and global travel. Air Peace remains committed to enhancing convenience and providing exceptional service to its passengers.
