Beyoncé, the most decorated artist in Grammy history, took home the coveted Album of the Year award for the first time with her genre-defying album Cowboy Carter. She ended the night with three awards.
In a dominant performance, Kendrick Lamar swept all five categories in which he was nominated, making it a clean sweep for the rapper.
