In a statement released on Monday in Abuja by NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Information and Publication, Fatima Usara, the commission’s chairman, Prof. Abdullahi Usman, revealed the fare structure. He explained that intending pilgrims from the Northern zone will be required to pay N8.4 million.

Usman highlighted that the fare was determined after thorough consultations with key stakeholders, including the presidency and state pilgrims’ boards, to ensure fairness and inclusivity in the process.

The statement read: “The 2025 Hajj fare for pilgrims from the Borno and Adamawa zones is N8.33 million, while pilgrims from the Southern states will pay N8.78 million, and those from the Northern zone will pay N8.46 million.”

Usman further emphasized that these fares were reached after careful deliberations aimed at balancing the needs of all parties involved.

Prospective pilgrims were urged to follow Saudi guidelines, register promptly, and make timely payments to avoid any inconveniences.

For more information and a detailed breakdown of the fares, NAHCON advised intending pilgrims to visit its official website or contact their respective state pilgrims’ welfare boards.

The chairman also expressed gratitude to the presidency and other stakeholders for their support, reaffirming the commission’s commitment to ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj experience for Nigerian pilgrims.
