President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), following an invitation from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Tinubu’s arrival was announced by the President’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, via a post on X, accompanied by a video showing the President’s reception. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrives in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he is received by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, UAE,” Olusegun wrote.
The summit, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” will take place from January 12 to 18, 2025. The event will bring together global leaders to advance sustainable development and socio-economic progress.
While in Abu Dhabi, President Tinubu is expected to deliver a keynote address focused on his administration’s key reforms, including energy efficiency, transportation, public health, and economic development. He will also engage in discussions with UAE leadership to strengthen bilateral ties and explore new avenues for economic and diplomatic cooperation.
The summit aims to create a platform for policymakers, business leaders, and civil society to collaborate on strategies for transitioning to a sustainable global economy and promoting worldwide prosperity.
