Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed on Wednesday that 25 people survived the crash of a passenger jet with 67 people on board in the western part of the country.
“According to preliminary information, there are 25 survivors, 22 of whom have been hospitalized,” the ministry said in a statement on Telegram. Health officials had initially reported that 14 survivors were hospitalized.
