The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) kicked off its computer-based aptitude test on Saturday, with 45,689 applicants competing for various positions within the company.

NNPCL spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, confirmed in a statement that the recruitment process covers multiple departments and encouraged interested candidates to visit the NNPCL careers page for detailed application instructions.

This recruitment drive follows the announcement on July 25, 2024, when NNPCL opened applications for new hires.

In a recent update on its official X handle, the national oil company reassured applicants that only the most qualified candidates would be selected at the conclusion of the process.

NNPCL Group CEO, Mele Kyari, who visited the testing center, emphasized the company’s commitment to a smooth, transparent, fair, and credible recruitment process. As an equal opportunity employer, NNPCL has also made provisions to ensure applicants with disabilities can take the test without any barriers.

Kyari reiterated that only the top candidates from the 45,689 applicants would be offered positions.
