Global video streaming platform Netflix has dismissed rumors that it is exiting Nigeria, reassuring its users and stakeholders of its continued presence in the country.
A spokesperson for Netflix refuted the speculations in a statement to Channels Tv, stating, “We are not exiting Nigeria.” The company further emphasized its commitment to the Nigerian market, saying, “We will continue to invest in Nigerian stories to delight our members.”
The statement comes in response to circulating reports on social media suggesting that Netflix was pulling out of its operations in Nigeria.
