Celine Dion loses control of muscles amid stiff-person syndrome battle
Famous Canadian singer Celine Dion has lost control of her muscles amid a battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, SPS.
The Telegraph reports that the 55-year-old singer had, in December 2022, revealed that she was diagnosed with an incurable disease that causes muscles to tense uncontrollably.
Also, in August 2023, during an interview with Le Journal de Montreal, the songstress’ elder sister, Claudette Dion, stated that Celine is yet to find any medicine that works to help combat her SPS.
Giving an update on Celine’s health on Monday, her 75-year-old sister Claudette told 7 Jours, per Daily Mail, that the singer had lost control of her muscles.
“She’s working hard, but she no longer has control over her muscles. What breaks my heart is that she’s always been disciplined.
“Some people have lost hope because it’s all illness that isn’t well known,” she said.
