The Super Falcons of Nigeria have dominated the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Best XI, following their triumphant performance in the tournament, which concluded on Saturday with a dramatic 3–2 win over hosts Morocco in the final.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, who was named Player of the Tournament and earned Woman of the Match honours in three of Nigeria’s six matches, led the Nigerian contingent in the lineup. Her dynamic presence and leadership were key to the Super Falcons’ title-winning run.

Joining her in the CAF Best XI, announced Monday, were Esther Okoronkwo, who claimed Woman of the Match in the final after scoring and assisting in the dramatic win, Michelle Alozie, who excelled at full-back, and Chiamaka Nnadozie, named Goalkeeper of the Tournament.

Okoronkwo impressed throughout the tournament, contributing two goals and four assists in a standout campaign.

Also featured in the Best XI are Moroccan stars Ibtissam Jraidi and Ghizlane Chebbak, three South African internationals — Refiloe Jane, Bambanani Mbane, and Karabo Dhlamini — as well as Ghana’s Portia Boakye and Grace Asantewaa.
