Meta launches campaign to tell business owners’ stories

Meta has announced the launch of a campaign to tell the stories of business owners using its technologies to achieve a social purpose and impact people.

The company said through the ‘Good Ideas Deserve to be Found’ campaign, it aimed to fuel the growth of indigenous small and medium businesses and empower them to further realise their ambitions.

It said in a statement that the campaign would highlight how personalised ads helped people discover small businesses on Facebook and Instagram.

The company said SMBs could grow their business digitally from an idea into a livelihood using the ads.

The Corporate Communications Manager for Anglophone West Africa, Meta, Oluwasola Obagbemi, said, “As an enabler of economic growth, Meta is committed to helping SMBs navigate obstacles, build meaningful connections and unlock economic opportunity, so they can continue making a positive impact on the world.
